Learning Palace Is A Family-Owned and Locally Operated Store That Provides Educational Materials and Specialty Toys To Parents, Teachers and Homeschoolers. Learning Palace Currently Has Five Retail Locations in Oregon and One in Sw Washington. Husband-And-Wife Team Norman and Norma Faris Opened the First Learning Palace in March of 1982 in Portland, Oregon. As A Mom, Norma Became Frustrated With the Lack of High-Quality Educational Products Available for Her Four Children. She Suggested To Her Husband That They Open A Teaching Supply Store. Norman Always Wanted To Operate His Own Store, So he Left His Position As A Local Carwash Supervisor and the Couple Used All Their Savings and Started Their Business Adventure. Learning Palace Continues To Be Family-Owned and Locally Operated by the Faris Family To This Very Day. You Will Find Norman and Norma’s Four Children and Even Their Grandchildren Working in the Stores. We Encourage You To Visit One of Our Six Retail Locations or To Shop With Us Online.
